Lamin-Art - material 2

Lamin-Art's Pearlescence collection caught my attention a while back, and I love it! The above is the color Carmine 2440 in the Wisp finish. This particular finish allows for a beautiful linear silhouette transitioning from glossy to matte lengthwise. This collection also offers a variety of finishes allowing for optical and tactile texture, a matte and glossy finish, as well as laminates that give the appearance of brushed metal and lacquered hardwood.

The collection allows for many custom options, but the standard sizes are 48" x 96" and 48" x 120." Standard thickness ranges from .028 - .048.

The standard application is for interior use only, and the product should not be exposed to high sunlight or high traffic. Although the laminate is high pressure and is able to withstand some wear and tear, but it should only be applied for decorative use only and not installed for structural purposes nor onto gypsum board, wallboard, or plaster. When installed, it should be adhered with an approved adhesive to particleboard, MDF, or HDF.

This collection has been tested extensively. This particular finish, "Wisp", passed all and surpassed many of the categories of the NEMA's (National Electrical Manufacturers Association) standardized testing procedures.

Because of the decorative finish, mild soap and warm water is recommended for cleaning, and no abrasive cleaning products should be used for fear of damage.
